Team doctors of the Golden State Warriors claim Boobie Miles gave Kevin Durant permission to play Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
"In our first meet with him he kept screaming something about me being from Midland and how I was jealous," said a member of the Warriors medical staff. "I'm from Staten Island..."
When asked for comment about the Durant situation, Miles pictured above (age 75), said he thinks he can still play and plans on trying to make a comeback in the NFL.
"See.. what we have here is a strong form of dementia," said a member of the Golden State medical staff who asked we leave her name anonymous. "Not only did he repeat particular phrases over and over again, but he never once made an attempt to talk about his conversation with Kevin Durant."
Miles, who was in San Francisco for Game 5, underwent a medical evaluation with the Warriors team doctors beforehand.
"Outside of his injury milestones over the years, I can safely diagnose Boobie with a heavy case of Alzheimer's, kidney stones, and arthritis," said Mike Franks. "I was really excited to do the procedure because I'm a huge fan of that character. The scene with his uncle in the car is heartbreaking!"
Durant never seemed to be phased by Golden State's attempts at making him sit out. He took Boobie's blessing in stride, and it didn't work out in his favor. Goes to show.. You can never trust a doctor from Midland.
