The Antonio Brown chapter for the Oakland Raider took an even weirder turn Friday afternoon after Brown filed a grievance with the NFL wanting to wear the same model helmet he had during his tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
According to a report, the helmet features a design too advanced for NFL Guidelines and isn't certified by the National Operating Committee for Standards and Athletic Equipment. It's said to have been designed by Alfred from Batman (the Christian Bale version) and has incredible features no other helmet in the NFL has. Here's some capabilities we know the helmet has (confirmed by Antonio Brown).
- An LED indicator on the inside of the visor telling him how much money he makes per second.
- An organic hydroponic spray that changes his hair color every time he puts it on.
- Jon Gruden’s personal memoir playing on audiobook
- A cheat sheet for “receiving basics coach taught me”
Noise around the league suggests that higher ups in league offices are unsure if said cheat sheet is from former coach Mike Tomlin or new coach Jon Gruden, regardless, the helmet is still under further investigation. Some believe Brown may be making the whole thing up, or it may just be that he wants to continue wearing a Steelers helmet. No doubt about it, the Canadien Football League is foaming at the mouth right now.
